The 2009/10 Snow Megathread

Came over through Castleton and Chapel, Whaley bridge etc on the way to work. Some light sludge on the fields at very high up but the roads are all very well gritted and there are no problems. I have used the A623 Eyam road when it's been far worse than this and had absolutely no problems.

Wintry showers continuing, some significant snowfall likely in places overnight, especially over the the high ground of the Moors. Some clearer spells allowing a frost. Strong northeasterly winds continuing. Minimum temperature -3 °C.

 

Friday:

Some bright or sunny spells but with further snow showers at times. Another cold day but with lighter winds. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
