Although to be honest even a light frost can make life tricky on my road because it's quite steep so I really don't want any. Unless I get mountaineering equipment for Christmas.

you should race down to 24hr tesco straight away and stock up on bottled water and tinned food - spam can last for over 10 years and still be reasonably edible. If you plan to shelter with friends and family - buy dog food, tastes alright mixed with gravy and no one else will want to share !

It will start snowing and never stop. The world as we know it will be buried for ever and we will be forced to live in a post-apocolyptic world above the snow. Be prepared!
