R4 chips legal or not

is it leagal to sell r4 chips in this country

they are illegal, bevause they hack the ds to play pirated games, nintendo relased firmware v.1.4 for the dsi to block the use of these cards.

 

we have one and it has been updated to 1.4 and now the card does not work.

so the issue is if you sell them no law broken .if u download on to them law broken ..i dont thnk it is against the law to sell them

Selling or buying them is unlikely to be illegal, but downloading games onto them is definitely infringing copyright and so could leave you open to being taken to court by the owner of the copyright.

 

We do not allow discussion of how to use or where to buy these cards or the best places to download games, so please don't take this thread down that road.

You can buy them and sell them legally....its only illegal to put copyrighted software on one withought permission or the rightful owners pal...At the end of the day its just a storage card and if that was the case hard drives and flash drives would be illegal too:loopy:
