Ju-Ju   10 #37 Posted November 30, 2009 The Woodentops in black and white of course, with the biggest spotty dog you ever did see. Also, perhaps a bit later, The Herbs. MOH can still sing the songs...."I'm Bayleaf I'm the gardener, I work from early dawn, you'll find me raking up the leaves, or tidying up the lawn" - come on, sing along. CheekyBandit   10 #39 Posted December 1, 2009 Didn't really watch tv for enjoyment until the early 1980's but I have vague memories of the schools tv programme Look And Read during the mid-late 1970's that my class was made to watch. My vague memories appear to be consistent with reruns of The King's Dragon and Cloud Burst. The former made me want to visit Hastings where the series was set and filmed, in particular St Clements Caves which I think was featured heavily. 'Whroo, whroo"  "I'm Dill the Dog, I'm a dog named dill"  I remember most of the characters,  Peshwana Bedhi the Indian. Lord Basil and Lady Rosemary. The chives, Tarragon the dragon(?). Now, was the chives' teacher called Miss Onion, or Miss Shallott or something. There was also a policeman, but I forget his name.
