Big Changes to Sheffield bus network from Jan 2010

Recommended Posts

Sorry but please clarify "Services 123 from Stagecoach to TMT( evening and Sunday trips to Woodhouse)" Does this mean that TMT will be taking over the service altogether or just on a sunday and evenings? Thanks

TM Travel will operate the evening and Sunday services that operate City-Woodhouse. The Monday to Saturday daytime is operated commercially by Stagecoach.

Just the evening and Sunday service on 123 is tendered and has been awarded to TMT.

Are there any more changes expected in Oct/Nov/Dec 2010 ?

The main deadline for late October changes is still a couple of weeks away - no news leaking out as yet! I will monitor the VOSA and report on this forum as per normal.

Just a reminder normal service resumes on all routes where minor weekday time tables adjustments were made because of school/university holidays.

Full details of affected services on First SY and TSY websites.

W/c 31st October 2010 changes known so far are:

Service 252 (TM Travel): A slightly revised timetable will be introduced, with some minor service reductions.

Service 285 (TM Travel): This service will be withdrawn completely.

Service 293 (TM Travel): An extensively revised timetable will be introduced.

Service 294 (TM Travel): The 0805 bus from Sheffield will be withdrawn.

Full details on the above are available on Derbyshire CC website

I would be nice to see Oyster card or similar and / or a monthly season ticket valid accross all operators.....that is if there is to be more than one operator......
