StopnSmile   10 #1 Posted November 12, 2009 I am looking for a Restaurant that is a little bit different to take some family to at the end of the month. I was hoping to go to Wasabisabi, for the teppanyaki - sadly they are full up on the night in question So we are looking for somewhere else that is a little different, a little special. Has anyone got any suggestions - it doesn't have to be Japanesse food, we like almost everything and are open to all sorts of new places. So any suggestions would be welcome Thanks S x
 Share this content via...
msmouse   10 #2 Posted November 12, 2009 Try The Bohemian on Chesterfield Road. It only does vegetarian food and you can bring your own wine in the evenings.
 Share this content via...
rosaespanola   10 #3 Posted November 12, 2009 I don't know if you're after a particular area, but Rowsha, the Lebanese restaurant on South Road in Walkley, is very good. They have some main courses but a lot of the time with this sort of food you just order a load of smaller dishes and all share them, so it's really good to do with a group of people. We love Rowsha, the food is fantastic and the service and atmosphere are lovely too.
 Share this content via...

I always used to eat in Sheikhs on Glossop Road but have started going to Rowsha instead, despite it being a pain for me to get to. I've taken a few people who have never eaten Lebanese and they've thoroughly enjoyed it - very "approachable" sort of food. Good recommendation! jbslater3 Â Â 10 #5 Posted November 15, 2009 Can't remember what its called but there's a Chinese dumpling/fondue place on London Road thats really good... you get a couple of soups on hot plates and order your raw food, then cook it yourself. Sounds strange, I was unsure but went for a friend's birthday and its well tasty. Oh and bring your own too. Give it a go!
 Share this content via...

Tyranna   10 #10 Posted November 29, 2009 Try Walnut Club in Hathersage, if you have a car and are interested in dining out of town; they also have a restaurant in Ecclesall Road.
 Share this content via...
RozeePozee   10 #11 Posted November 30, 2009 I haven't been to the Walnut Club in Hathersage but was VERY disappointed with the Eccy Road one. Mediocre food and service.
 Share this content via...
