Fights 3 and 4 were under Amateur MMA rules.

 

Fight 3

David Spout (UMA , York) Vs Andy Gabbitas (Kapap)

 

Andy Gabbitas started well and used a good level of groundwork but got caught with a Triangle and was tapped out in the first round.

Fight 4

Steve O Neill (Gainsborough) Vs Jacob Constantinou (Brian Aikens WOMA)

 

Jacob submitted his opponent in the 1st round with an RNC!!!

Jocb did his trainer Brian Aiken proud!!!

Fight number 5 brought thunderous applause!!!

 

It was a Ladies K-1 fight at 53kg.

Bad Ass Becky Usher's Debut bout (AFK Fighter) Vs Emma Goodwin from Luton.

 

The Bad ass from AFK started the fight a little nervous as Emma being more experienced (this being Emma's 4th fight) started strong and ouboxed Becky.Both exchanged low kicks but it was essentially Becky's round.

 

Round 2 and both girls stood toe to toe , the fight going one way then another. Becky started to fnd her range with the high kicks!

 

Round 3 and Becky was strongest this round. Both girls landing leg kicks and punches with Becky's Body and High kicks and right crosses making the difference.

The crowd roared with approval as every body kick or punch landed.

 

The end decision was a DRAW.

 

Beckys many fans in the audience (and believe me there must have been about 100 shouting for Becky alone, thank you to all fans from other clubs too) voiced their dissaproval thinking Becky had won obviously only remembering rounds 2 and 3.

With 1 round a piece and the 2nd drawn (on all score cards) a Draw was the fair decision.
