Qwinshi 10 #1 Posted November 6, 2009 Hi folks Just thought I'd post a quick plug for fundraising event for the British Red Cross on Wednesday 9th December. It's 10 "up-and-coming" comedians for a bargainous tenner (£8 conc). Each comedian does a 10 min slot so even if they're not up to scratch they won't be on for long! Unfortunately I won't be able to make it as it's mid-week... drat and double drat! Details below if you're interested... Q xx The inaugural British Red Cross comedy fundraising night in Yorkshire takes place on Wednesday 9 December in the prestigious 400 capacity Platinum Suite at Sheffield Utd FC's Bramall Lane football ground. It will feature 10 comedians for just £10 ! Plus: Compere CK Goldiing, raffle, spot prizes, and the unexpected... All proceeds from the night will benefit the Red Cross in Yorkshire. We're delighted to announce that Barbara Nice has agreed to perform. Barbara is a headliner on the club circuit; had her own highly successful one woman show 'Barbara - Vampire Slayer' at the Edinburgh Fringe; starred in BBC2 sitcom 'Thin Ice'; and was a regular in Peter Kay's 'Phoenix Nights' and 'Max & Paddy's Road to Nowhere.'
