im late to this thread.but read the article in the sun about this story.

 

this thread tho yet again highlights how certain "right wing" people fail to diffrentiate between muslims and "extremists / terrorists"

 

they seem to be interchangable sayings

If that were a BNP supporter carrying information re a protest march or such the apologists on here would be spitting feathers ,yet we have a religious nutter carrying plans for terrorist weapons and is known to have links with known terrorists and the same fools who would condemn a march are actually trying to defend her...unbelievable...makes you wonder how their mindset works

as somebodys already said........ANY of us can download the anarchists cookbook right now..............does that mean we're a terrorist? does that mean we're going to use it?

 

she apparently did 2 years while waiting........does having such an item require a stiffer penalty? she'd be getting more than a murderer almost

 

in the end it comes down to a similer thing to free speech......should you be barred / arrested / locked up for owning / reading such things as terrorist "aiding" books and manuals, porn mags whatever

if you read such a thing are you actually going to commit a crime? or is it just interest?

Your making a big deal in defence citing this anarchists cookbook,tell me when you downloaded it did you read it openly and have a titter at it or did you hide it taped to your person hoping nobody would find it subtle difference that changes the context and intended use completely,If you have nothing to hide you dont try to conceal things which may be classed as incriminating....agreed?

some on this thread have advocated the death penalty, but since when did we execute people who were mentally ill, it was a very long time ago.

 

The woman is clearly crackers, incarceration is right for her, probably for a very long time in a secure hospital so she can get treated, but the death penalty is over the top dont you think?

I think the key difference is that no-one would take the detection of a BNP member carrying similar to mean that all white people are terrorists or that there's something inherently wrong with Christianity.

Just as the left wing section of this forum tend to jump on anything pertaining to the BNP,MrBenn chooses to highlight any infractions pertaining to muslims Im certain MrBenn's link highlighting a person with terrorist tendencies is as newsworthy as any piece highlighting a BNP quarrel with the UAF ..I know which one I would be more interested in.

Well firstly no it would not mean you were a terrorist unless you had links with known teerorists to start with which its been proven she did so how do you compare someone with a curiosity and someone who is rubbing shoulder with people already plotting/carrying out acts of violance.

 

second, again it depends on the circomstances, if she has links to known terrorists then I would say it deffinity warrents a tougher sentance because the outcome could be catastrophic if you get it wrong. Also what murderers do you know that get only slightly more than 2 years ? and if she had not been caught and somone had carried out murder then she would be complicit in it and therefore as guilty. If proven she had links to terrorism and the knowlege she had in her possesion then I would have opted for a charge of Thretts to kill persons unknown or attemted murder.

 

Thirdly its not been proven she actually even read the things but as she has terrorist links it could be proven that she was at least passing on infomation or even going to act with that infomation herself in my opinion. curiosity is one thing, transporting such knowlege to terrorists is another.

 

I dont have a racist agenda and don't hate women or wish to see the mentaly ill in jail for things they have no comprhention of but this woman has terrorist written all over her and I fail to see why people are seemingly jumping to her defence other than the fact that the forum numpty brought up the topic. I think its probably right in this case to shoot the messenger but lets take note of the actual messege first.

links is another one...........since when has a link been a crime?

 

what link are they? she may have known them at school, may have lived on the same street.

 

ive had links with known anarchists in sheffield before (ones been in prison) doesnt mean im gonna run off and blow something up
