You don't need to leave - just don't bother reading/posting for a while. I sometimes get very annoyed with it and stomp off, swearing I'll never bother again, but I always seem to come back.

I started a few threads that didn't go very far

 

On another forum I frequented, my threads always died a death. Probably not controversial enough.

 

I've had some helpful feedback on the small number of threads I've started on here though.

Don't be too dispirited edgey. I feel like quitting the forum everyday. I get riled by rude, obnoxious and downright ignorant forummers and what I want to say would get me banned in return. I drop in and out of threads and have hardly started any. I sometimes just sit and read threads as if I was listening in on an interesting conversation, then chip when I feel I want to say something. I don't do it expecting a reply.

been here for such a short time and already suffering from forum ennui ...

Just slag off Muslims or Mums who drive 4x4 jeeps and you'll have a million followers within an hour. Christ imagine a muslim mum, who drives a 4x4. the world is unlimited in this forum.
