cymbaline   10 #196 Posted August 22, 2010 Grenoside Chippy  Only open Thursday and Friday evening and Saturday lunchtime but worth the weekly wait!  Grenoside Chippy is my favourite. The portions are sensible sizes, not too big.
 Share this content via...
muttley_the_   10 #197 Posted August 22, 2010 Does anyone know of a good chippy in Dronfield that fries proper fishcakes?  used to live there for 20 years and if its still there the one on high street opposite the blue stoops pub was always ok and i think i did proper sheffield fish cakes ie not risoles (mashed up in breadcrumbs etc)  the one on the main a61 road opposite the train station was bad and pricey  can't recall another chippy in dronfield tbh but i'm going back a few years now! Blue Moon   10 #198 Posted September 3, 2010 Grenoside Chippy is my favourite. The portions are sensible sizes, not too big.  They are lovely and the fish butty's are gorgeous - don't forget a healthy dose of ketchup on them, too!
