It's been in the papers almost constantly for the last 10 years (and before that - I remember in the early 80's a government think tank thought up a repatriation policy for people who had moved here from the carribean). The right wing media have never stopped talking about it, which is why it is easier for the BNP to make small but significant increases to their popularity.
