CHAIRBOY   10 #1 Posted October 29, 2009 (edited) Wigan player, Marlon King sent to prison for 18 months following his trial at Southwark Crown Court.  http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8332029.stm  Good, Whelan has sacked him. geocol   10 #2 Posted October 29, 2009 He already knows what he faces.  He did a spell inside a few years ago for stealing cars and driving them a bit quicker than the legal limit.  Probably reasons why he never attracted interest from bigger clubs. CHAIRBOY Â Â 10 #4 Posted October 29, 2009 He is a bad egg. I think it's another case of "Leopards". Fancy being taken on a bonding exercise to Scarborough, when with Hull, and nutting Windass in a casino at 3am? What a dreadful role model. He hasn't really cut it at Premiership level. geocol   10 #5 Posted October 29, 2009 No surprise that it was Paul Scally who picked him up out of non league football and recognised his potential,.............. maybe if only as a getaway driver or potential drug supplier to his wife! geocol   10 #6 Posted October 29, 2009 .. ... He hasn't really cut it at Premiership level. A rather unfortunate turn of phrase you used there Chairboy, considering what he did to the woman
 Share this content via...
CHAIRBOY   10 #7 Posted October 29, 2009 A rather unfortunate turn of phrase you used there Chairboy, considering what he did to the woman  Not normally one of my terms but trying to move into 21stC vernacular!  I feel very sorry for the victim and King's reported quotes tie-in with those used when he took Windass on, engaging in puerile boasts about a watch. I think he is an arrogant individual and delighted the Wigan chairman has shown him the door. Of course, we must divide the sentence by two! daftlad   11 #8 Posted October 29, 2009 This is a right shame-not. If there is anything that annoys me about people that are well known its the "dont you know who i am bit" Good ridance to bad rubbish, shame the sentence isn't a longer one
 Share this content via...

boyfriday   21 #10 Posted October 30, 2009 Hope someone bigger than him takes a fancy and he spurns their advances.....  Ooo, that would be sweet revenge, especially with him being such a pretty boy  On a serious note, what bugs me is that even after serving his sentence there'll be some soft club that will want to employ him on big wages, he should be banished from the public stage in my opinion. taxman   12 #11 Posted October 30, 2009 I've just been reading about his string of previous over the past 12 years.  Never mind, next time he asks someone "Do you know who I am?" the answer will be "Yes, my bitch!"
 Share this content via...
