When is a locked thread not a locked thread?

When a Moderator unlocks it in order to make their own points but allows no one else to respond.

 

An abuse of power?

I thought the user deserved clarification without sending him/her to the helpdesk or before someone deleted it altogether.

Maybe so. However, consider for just a moment what those amongst us who are called to be moderators have to give up.....personally, I would never put myself in a position whereby I am requested to be one.

 

Value your independence, slick, and accept the momentary curtailment of your freedom of speech.
