annesthreads   10 #1 Posted September 13, 2009 Can anyone recommend a removal firm that does European removals? I'm having a nightmare trying to get a load of boxes moved. Pickfords went to the wrong house when they came to estimate, costing me an afternoon off work, and weren't falling over themselves to put the mistake right, which I thought was poor, given their reputation; Appleyard's quotation was ludicrously high - a fleet of taxis might have been cheaper - and though SBS have given us a good quote, it's really difficult to get them to send paperwork through or respond to queries -the fault of a new computer system, apparently. Is there a firm out there which has sensible prices and decent admin? Asking a lot, I know!
 Share this content via...

L00b   441 #7 Posted September 17, 2009 Try Specialist Movers. They moved us to Dublin (from Sheffield) some years back, competitive and excellent service. I'd have used them again in a heartbeat, when we came back (but timing was all wrong logistically, so unfortunately we couldn't and had to use an Irish firm, good but not quite as good). topcat700 Â Â 10 #8 Posted September 17, 2009 National carriers is a removal firm which is used by the army to move household goods ect of servicemen/women both home and abroad. Â I think they mainly operate in Belgium and Germany though, so I don't know if that is what you are looking for. Â If not I suggest try google on international removals. They're a small, family owned firm who are fully insured.  Their website is here.  Good luck with your move.
 Share this content via...
