Les Skelton was my boss, he was the chap who interviewed me & gave me my job, Bit of a slave driver though, he'd breeze through the paint shop and his favourite saying was 'any action going on in here'? I had to clean his ford capri every Friday afternoon.

Jack Cave was the big cheese at that time.

Pete had a smile at your comment :) Les still very assertive, was always the boss being my big brother. Great family guy at heart, married for almost 60yrs. Just think yourself lucky he gave you a job, you must be top quality:D well done. Take Care

Hi Celt, glad to hear Les is still in fine fettle, If Les can remember me I was the skinny lad with a shock of long hair, he set me on in August 1971.

I can remember some of the chaps who were his sales team, Ray Walker, Peter (Moyshe) Mennell, Ian Shepherd & Gary Bott, they all used to drive round in Mk 1 Escorts, happy days those were.

Send my regards
