Recommendations  please !

 

My pond pump driving the water into a filter box has failed.

It's an Hozelock Cyprio Display pump 1500  Model 3378- 0000  230v  50hz  33w  0.25 A

 

What type of pump have you got ?

Can you still obtain the above ( web site unclear ) and where from, i.e. Wards at Coal Aston or where ?

We buy our pond equipment from either Wayside Water Gardens, at  Oldcotes or South Yorkshire Aquatics at Bawtry. Both have very knowledgeable staff.

There used to be a decent pond / fish shop  in Birley  Moor Garden Centre

Bought the same pump this afternoon as the one that packed up on me from Wards at Coal Aston

Bit shocked at the price  £60

I've just closed our pond down.  I have had massive problems with Blanket weed over the last couple of years.   I've got some good quality equipment to sell if anyone is interested.  As soon as I've got it cleaned I'll be listing it in the Classifieds .   Thanks Kev

I use Blanket Answer, not had problems for years now. I might be interested if you have a U V filter over 25 watts.

Morning.  I used Blanket Answer many times with no success. I have a Pro Clear Ultima  30 watt  UV filter.
