lalapopcicle   10 #1 Posted September 2, 2009 Hi,  I have been asked to attend a group interview for a media/sales position next week and have no idea what to expect from this type of interview.  Has anyone ever had one and what do they usually include?  Thanks! Lady Star   10 #2 Posted September 2, 2009 It normally means that you will be interviewed alongside the other applicants, you may have some role play aspects, where one is the sales rep, the other a customer or you may be given group tasks to complete... The interviewers will walk between the groups as you are preparing your role play or task and then will mark you on assertiveness, ability to work with others, leadership and any other qualities they are looking for in their sales team... Lady Star   10 #4 Posted September 2, 2009 Thanks LadyStar, will help me to prepare!  Just be yourself, unless they have issued with with anything specific to prepare for the interview, just go well dressed and stay calm when you get there... You say it's for a media sales job? Selling ad space in mags? Make sure you get your point across when you are in the group situation - they'll want to see that, but not that you are agressive!
