Keith Rich   10 #1 Posted September 2, 2009 My 60 days free Norton has expired and I have tried to install a new one. However, the old one won't uninstall, nether manually or by the computer.  Can anyone advise on this please?
 Share this content via...

Tonto3 Â Â 10 #6 Posted September 2, 2009 Undisputed king of bloatware. Once on there, is almost impossible to remove all traces - the uninstall procedure is an absolute joke. Best avoid unnecessary pc pollution and get something lean & fit for purpose like avg. Could save you some pennies too.
 Share this content via...
Space   10 #7 Posted September 2, 2009 Norton used to be crap and bloated, but the latest 2009-2010 versions are fantastic. Uses much less ram than anything else on the market.  Oh, and by the way, AVG free is one of the most bloated AV's on the market now, and it doesn't stop Rootkit viruses.
