Public transport from Dronfield to Sheffield

Hi,

 

Does anyone use public transport (bus or train) to travel to work in Sheffield? I would like to know what the service is like (frequency and reliability and cost).

43 every 30 mins daytime, hourly eve and Sunday

44 hourly, daytime only

44a hourly, daytime only

Above buses combine to form a 15 minute frequency on common sections of route.

Day ticket £3, weekly £12

 

TM Travel - http://www.tmtravel.co.uk

293 every 30 mins Mon-Fri, hourly Saturdays, daytime only. Some extra buses at peak time.

89 evenings only, infrequent

181 Sunday only, infrequent

285 peaktime only, infrequent

Day ticket £2.90, weekly £10

 

Northern Rail - http://www.northernrail.org

Hourly service all day every day

 

East Midlands Trains - http://www.eastmidlandstrains.co.uk

Hourly, peak times only

 

Train tickets, valid for any operator: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk

Anytime day return £4.20

Off Peak day return £3.60 (after 09:30am)

Weekly season £16.80 (photocard required)
