tweetipie   10 #1 Posted August 23, 2009 Hi, i'm wanting to buy some EMU boots but can only find them online. I have heard that it is advisable to buy a size smaller, but would prefer to try some on in a store, rather than getting them online and finding out they don't fit! Does anyone know where i can find EMU boots in Sheffield? Thanks, Alex x
 Share this content via...

HotPhil   10 #6 Posted August 25, 2009 They do seem to be on the big side, and as the wool gets compressed they get a little bigger. I love mine in the winter time, so comfy and warm!
 Share this content via...
tweetipie   10 #7 Posted August 26, 2009 Thanks, if i can't find them in a store i'll just have to guess on the size.
 Share this content via...
tweetipie   10 #8 Posted August 27, 2009 Well, that was a waste of time! Went to Crystal Peaks TK Maxx and Sheffield TK Maxx, neither had my size, or the style i'm after. The shop behind the cathedral only has UGG boots, though the shop assistant was very nice
 Share this content via...

tweetipie   10 #11 Posted August 28, 2009 UGG and EMU aren't the same thing, they're made by different manufacturers. And i don't want cheap/knock off boots either - yes, EMU's are cheaper than UGG's, but they're still about £80!
 Share this content via...
tweetipie   10 #12 Posted August 28, 2009 Ooh, thanks for that website Cloudybay, the one's i want are only £64 there! Though i might go for the others, at £89. I'm undecided, which is why i wanted to find a store selling them, so i could try some on, decide on a style.
 Share this content via...
