JenC   10 #973 Posted December 14, 2009 Yes, I agree re Macca. The guy's getting on (he's 67) but there's no need for him to strain trying to reach those notes. He's got a catalogue of ballads to choose from! Why not give us Here, There And Everywhere or For No-One?!  And I agree to that Lucie was a decent singer. Not only that, she was rather delish too, wasn't she?  I don't watch it, but what did he sing? Please tell me it wasn't Hey-chuffin'-Jude again? It seems to be all he sings on TV appreances/concerts! I'd rather he did something more obscure - I wonder if he could still manage Oh! Darling these days?
 Share this content via...
Ousetunes   10 #974 Posted December 14, 2009 (edited) Drive My Car and whilst playing the piano, Live and Let Die.  Sorry Paul, but the latter has to go as a live act. Edited December 14, 2009 by Ousetunes
 Share this content via...

laineyiow   10 #978 Posted December 14, 2009 Agree the song is dire - in fact to me it sounds just like the "spoof" song that Peter Kaye sang as "Geraldine". It just made me laugh.  Think Joe is lovely tho!
 Share this content via...
