Mine's a G4 on 10.5.7

You know 10.5.8 came out a couple of weeks ago - you should update via Software Update

If you bought your Mac after June 08th this year you only have to pay £7.95

I ordered mine last week, hopefully it will be here by the weekend.

I'm running a Hackintosh with MacOSX 10.5.7 (courtesy of iDeneb)

I love my OSX for working, ('lo Espresso, and CSSedit) and Windows for gaming.

Just ordered a copy of Snow Leopard, well it would be rude not to for £25

Good thing is can run 10.5.x + 10.6.x side by side until 10.6 proves itself

I'm hoping they ship the pre orders to be delivered on Friday, or Saturday at the latest - otherwise I would have gone to the store to pick one up.

I know I keep putting it off :hihi: I usually wait a few weeks to see if anybody else has any problems first.

I get you - I've always been one for updating as soon as the update comes out - never had any problems from 10.4 all the way through to 10.5.8

Mac lad here too. On my 3rd, had a G4 Imac and then a powerbook. Now got a lovely Intel Imac that I've had a few years. Tempted every so often to plump for a 24" new Imac but don't really need to.

Use a windows laptop for work and detest it. As a qualified MCSE in NT4 (old school!) my dislike of Microsoft products stems from way back!
