duckweed   10 #1 Posted August 10, 2009 Does anyone know where I could get instructions or even a diagram as to how to thread this machine correctly and set the tension? My daughter bought one from Ebay and is having trouble getting the tension right. Tried the singer shop online but can't find it listed. Shelagh   10 #2 Posted August 13, 2009 The majority of sewing machines follow the shape of a letter N for threading, I can't draw on the keyboard but starting from the right(bobbin) loop around any hooks you come across (bearing the shape of the N in mind), you'll probably go down through the tension, around and back up, a loop above the tension and then down again through the needle.  I use Alan Wharton (sewing machine repair man) 0114 2426755, if I have any great problems. He's very reasonable and there's not a lot he doesn't know about sewing machines.  I live in S9 if I can be of further help.
