Wild ring necked parakeet's in sheffield ??

I work at the Northern General and there are a large flock who gather in the woods at the side of Barnsley Road.....

I saw 20-30 roosting on Brightside Lane last friday (31st jan)

I counted 11 in Graves Park just after New Year. They were feeding in a yew tree adjacent to the top pond.

Sheffield Lane top - a pair are regulars in this area. Said to be about a dozen in Longley park

I see them regularly flying from the woods between Longley Hall Road and Barnsley Road, the woods that go down to the Northern General hospital, not sure if its called Bagley Dyke.
