I've just noticed that the TV coverage is on Channel 5 TONIGHT at 1.05AM, and not Tuesday as stated in the info pack.

I was on the TV prog for about 5 seconds last night, looking very nervous before the race. I'm very pleased they didn't show me running up the hill!!

 

The speed of the elite runners in simply amazing, and they make it look so easy! I can't sprint for even 10 seconds at the pace they hold for the whole race.

Thought the same re: the elites. They were coming up commercial street as we were going down - very good to see. Loved the Rocky music - did the trick!

 

Not watched the programme yet, looking forward to it.

Well done to everyone! I couldn't make this one, but did the Sheffield half marathon earlier this year - will be back next time and try to get a few more in too - great sense of achievement and community - ace!

Did my first 10k in 51 mins with 8 weeks training and really enjoyed it, apart from the hill at ponds forge where i think i was running on the spot- i did manage to find some energy from some where to sprint the home straight that suprised me but think it was the support from the crowd it was first class! well done all!
