Is Woodthorpe a bad area

can anyone help, im off to see a house tomorrow at Woodthorpe. Is it a common area

hiya, depends where abouts. Weve brought a house in woodthorpe, lived here two years had no trouble, no noisey neighbours. really like it here.

We've also lived on the Woodthorpe estate a couple of years and had no bother, but i would not live near the shops!

 

Its not a bad estate at all even though it has a bad name.

My relations lived there for years at the bottom of Fishponds Road, the old lady wouldn't move for anything

But the day of her funeral, they were trying to break in as the funeral cars were driving away, yes lovely area.

fishponds is bad, i wouldnt live there. but ive never seen or heard of anything like that.

houses sell stupidly cheap down near the shops, nothing wrong with the houses just people dont want to live near there.

Weve had a couple of houses for sale near us, both sold in first few days of being on the market. When we brought ours we were the first people to view ours, we brought it that day.

so cant be as bad as people try to make out.
