seak   10 #1 Posted August 5, 2009 Hey - can anybody suggest where I may be able to sell a Buffet professional clarinet? It was very expensive when I bought it and will, i think, have retained its value. I dont know where to start with music shops in Sheffield and so any help would be greatly apprecaited.  Thanks
 Share this content via...
margarete   10 #2 Posted August 5, 2009 When I sold my piano I sold it by way of a 'middle man' - a piano tuner. - He knew people who wanted to sell and he knew people who wanted to buy, and he knew how much the piano was worth - set a price on it in fact - and how much other people wanted to spend. So he fixed up for a few people to come and see it, then one of them bought it from me at the price he had set. His 'fee' from me was 10% of the money I was paid for it.  So I suggest you contact a clarinet teacher in Sheffield as your middle man. S/He will be able to suggest a fair price and hopefully will know someone among his/her pupils who would like to buy one of that quality at that price.  HTH
 Share this content via...
