I walked past there about half an hour ago, there is a lot of police around and it has been taped of from the HSBC to outside HMV, there was quite a bit of blood on the floor. Don't know what happened, have only heard speculation.

man with some kind of sound recording equipment just arrived and the area at bottom fargate taped off. one police gone into carphone warehouse "it's just in here" - cctv possibly?

not affecting traffic/tram/bus/ people walking but a lot of police still present
