Babooshka   10 #15 Posted July 24, 2009 La Coupe in Orchard Square.  They are fantastic. There is a walk in service, where you pay a fixed amount. I have a cut AND colour, so it is £50 if you just turn up. Will be considerably less is you just want the cut. The staff are very professional. They really look after you, tell you about your hair, what suits, how to look after YOUR style. They make you feel like a really valued client. Best service I have ever received in a hairdressers, in every way. Very friendly, and interested stylists. I would recommend this place to anyone. My cut was so good, and lasted. Claret   10 #17 Posted July 24, 2009 Wow - never been to a hairdressers. Does that mean she has never had it cut? If so then she will need a serious restyle. Go somewhere decent and get it done properly.
 Share this content via...

annb3811 Â Â 10 #19 Posted July 24, 2009 Taylor Taylor on Surrey Street (or Glossop Road). OR wigs and Warpaint in West one is suposed to be good but expensive. Â deffo taylor taylor surrey st...if you phone up for an appointment on training day its alot cheaper.....both me and my daughter have our hair done there and they really are brilliant....trainees are supervised at every stage and we have always been happy with the results
 Share this content via...
tiptop   10 #20 Posted July 24, 2009 I now use S12 on Mansfield Road. I used to go to Regis, but they do a better Job and are half the price.
 Share this content via...
Classic Rock   10 #21 Posted July 24, 2009 Try Betty Tigers on Infirmary Road, opposite Tescos. An experience to say the least and very cheap.
 Share this content via...
berties_ears   10 #22 Posted July 24, 2009 For a fab experience try Kham on London Road. This is a Thai Hair-dressers but Kham is equally good at cutting european hair as asian. As long as you avoid busy times (friday/saturday) you don't need an appointment. She charges about £25 for a restyle but unlike the taylor-taylors and regis type places you get a fab Thai head-massage in with the price. I have very fine blonde hair and after 30 years of it looking fine and unstyleable I was advised to try Kham and it now looks fab. Unlike most hairdressers she uses a blade to cut with rather than scissors and boy does it make a difference.
 Share this content via...
Daven   10 #23 Posted July 24, 2009 Try Regis in meadowhall. Top floor, just before you get to the Oasis. Our lass uses that one. I don't think they charge that much.  Is that what she told you?!!
 Share this content via...
Aries22 Â Â 10 #24 Posted July 24, 2009 Just remember the posher shops and not necessarly the best cutter's you just pay for the surroundings. Most hairdressers have their qualification certificates on display thats what counts.
 Share this content via...
