Extra bags with the blue paper/card bin?

Hi SF. I'm clearing out the house at the moment and have a huge amount of paper and card to shift. Does anyone know: if I leave extra bags of paper out with the blue bin, will they collect them when they do the blue bins or can I only fill the bin up once a month?

If you tie it up in neat piles and put in beside the bin they normally take it. Otherwise places like B&Q and Asda have paper/ cardboard bins also availble at tips like Blackstock road if you have transport.

Or you could always look in neigbours bins on collection day and fill up any of their unused space.

They've always taken mine when ive left it at the side of the bin in a neat pile, not bags though

when I left some folded up cardboard next to bluebin, they never took it! wouldnt have hurt them, can you shove it in a neighbours blue bin?

Id ask the neighbour first just to be pleasant but why not if it gets rid of it, better than lying around your back garden, good luck

It's a bit ridiculous that the blue one's for recycling, it's small and gets collected once a month, whereas the black one's for polluting waste, is larger and gets taken every week! Never mind, I think I'll have a chat with next door
