Recommended Posts

hi have checked, 06.47 arrive 07.34, 07.41 arrive 08.32, 07.25 arrive 08.39, this is all to east mids parkway and then shuttle from there, if you let me know what time you travel i could get a better time line for you

last time we went it was an early morning flight so we booked an overnight room at the East Midlands Hilton, left the car there for a week, free transfer to and from the airport. No worries about road works, hold ups, and no 3 a.m. driving. Completely hassle free, and not too expensive.

Or, heaven forbid, they could check train times themselves?

Mad idea, but could work.

You would be an idiot if you get lost driving to EMA.

Thanks for that!

Thanks for looking up this for me, it's really nice of you! My flight is at 9.40am but I have to check my bags in so am hoping to be there for about 8am.

I don't know, because I've never done the route before. That's why I'm asking for advice!

Ruby was asking a perfectly reasonable question, everyone's trying to assist in the best way they can, why do you have to be so negative? your replies are not showing you in a very good light :loopy: It is easy to drive there Ruby, I've done it a few times now (dropping family off/picking them up) I have to admit being a bit apprehensive initially but it really is a doddle, sure you'll be fine ..................
