blue-star   10 #2 Posted July 14, 2009 We had one in our loft. I got some garden cane and a coat hanger, made the coat hanger into a loop and secured a carrier bag over the end. Reached into the loft and managed to fumble the nest into the bag and got my ex to quickly close the bag up, then threw it on a garden fire. Just be carefull you dont get stung. beer   10 #6 Posted July 14, 2009 Spraying with WD40 seems to work well. I use the extension tube and stick it inside and give the nest a good spray.
 Share this content via...
brian1941   11 #7 Posted July 14, 2009 hi does anyone know how to get rid of a wasps nest or know anyone that can? Cheers  ----------- yes, ring the enviroment service---<< wasps>>. We had a nest under the roof they killed them with white powder --- cost £ 35-45. If you are on benifits you get it done cheaper. Will give you phone number-- if you live in sheffield 0114-2037410.
