Darth Vader   10 #25 Posted July 3, 2009 That's because there's no fighting allowed on National Trust property.  Yes, let's leave that to the English Heritage yobbos.
 Share this content via...

purple_frog   10 #28 Posted July 3, 2009 THey've brilliant exercise 'playgounds' for old people in China, with lots of simple but fun things to get the blood pumping - my favourite were sorta like cross-trainers that you swung on, I loved 'em! Of course, over there you see the old peeps out in the parks socialising and exercising at ridiculous o'clock in the morning, something I doubt you'd find happening over here...  Regardless, I doubt I'll ever be too old to enjoy swings, you can never have too many about the place, IMO! Lord Linx   10 #30 Posted July 3, 2009 I am intrigued by an item in the latest issue of 'In touch with Sheffield Homes' Quote 'Some ideas currently being considered are: Encouraging older people to be more active by providing a secure environment for an older person's play area'  So what might be in this play area, adult size swings and slides perhaps? A sand pit and paddling pool?  Anyone have any more ideas?  Old people:hihi:
 Share this content via...

Greybeard   10 #34 Posted July 3, 2009 What about a supervised creche for the senile oldies?  Nah...just leave at home alone to die and not be found for five years. Keeps them out of your hair at least.
 Share this content via...

I met a man called Mr Zebedee because he was a tai chi master and was all springy. He was in his 70s.  What about a general adult's playground though? The kids ones have got little climbing walls and ropes and bridges and all sorts, just scale 'em up and we can all play
 Share this content via...
