New key blade for Audi A3 (09-plate)

Recommended Posts

Wasn't there a locksmith called Moore's on West Street?

Edit, no that's Mortons.

I'm pretty sure it was Mitchells. They moved down Trafalgar st for a couple of years before closing down. I think Mortons is the Cutlers.

Yep, you're right. Too many metal workers beginning with "M"!

Oh well, if you can afford to buy and run an 09 plate Audi you can afford the other costly burdens of ownership!

Such a nice person you must be...

Not withstanding Mad Hatter's unfortunate luck with the key, it seems prudent, prior to handing over the money for a new (or secondhand) car, to insist on the inclusion of a spare key and also for them to disclose the cost of any future replacements.

When Gilders service can be bothered to answer the phone (hello guys - customer service !!!) they want £70 for a complete new fob... ... and a further £125 to then programme that fob (plus seeing proof of ownership, etc plus having to book car in - can't do it while you wait - grrrr  ).

Is this the problem? You've nicked it haven't you!!! :D
