Hello,

Can someone give me a price of how much it would be to make something similar to the link below

Also need around 10 buttonholes making from the crystal and wire idea. See link below. Crystals and gold wire.

I am willing to attempt to make these myself but unsure where to buy the materials, if anyone could help with that id be grateful.

Also what other beads could be used that are similar as the above crystals but are alot cheaper?

Thanks

Hi, this should be pretty easy to make, the wire twisting is a little fiddly at first but as there is only one crystal on each strand then once you get the hang of it, you should have no problems.

If you don't want to fork out for swarovski, the next best thing is probably Czech firepolish beads. Beads Direct do 51 8mm beads for £2.50ish. You would need quite a few to get a decent sized bouquet and you could mix 6mm and 8mm for the bouquet and then probably 4mm and 6mm for the buttonholes.

For the wire, you'd need something like 0.6mm coated copper wire to give the strands some stability, if you used anything thinner the strands could droop. And you'll need quite a bit so have a good search on the internet to see if you can get some wholesale!

(This is 0.5mm but just to give you an idea of what you need)
