pattricia Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Sunkist on Woodseats were doing a free 15 min trial a few weeks ago. Just standing on without doing any exercises, on the circulation setting. It made me feel really weird, I didn't like it at all. I know people who absolutely love it and have a session a couple of times a week, though. I bought one, but sold it, as it also made me feel weird (which I already am).It made my teeth rattle (yes they are my own) and the veins in my head swelled up, which I didnt like at all.
giar68 Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 There is one in Glitz Hair & Beauty Stannington they offer a free trial then its £20 for unlimited use for 4 weeks or £15 each if you bring a friend. Ring 01142338388 to ask for more details.
lizziebb Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 has anyone had a good experiance using the power plate
Tony Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Doesn't sound like it. The people who haven't used them think they are great and the people who have used them think that they aren't. Perhaps a 20 minute walk around the block would be more beneficial / less weird / more sensible / less dangerous to joints ?
lizziebb Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 you are probaby right at least if i continue with the walking it won't damage the knees !!
Shef_Fitness Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 People who I know that have tried it say it leaves them with sore joints.
