bluecanary
Have noticed that this has appeared at the far end of South Road (opposite Perfect Pie cafe) during the last week. It looks interesting, as according to the advertising in the front window (which looks quite classy, by the way) it claims to do "authentic" Italian food. I would interpret this as meaning pizza which isn't dripping with cheese and grease like most of the rubbish served up by "Italian" takeaways, as well as a diverse range of other dishes. Has anyone tried this place yet? Would you recommend it? Is it pricey/good value? I looked for a website for more info, but couldn't find one. bluecanary
They open at the end of the month. The menu reads more like a restaurant menu than a takeaway, though pizza and pasta seem to be reasonably priced.

Cream Bun
Good luck to 'em thats what I say. Any new business starting out in the current climate needs all the support they can get. However the delightful Vitos is just down the road. A real class act when it comes to authentic Italian restaurants. Will be a tough act to compete with. bluecanary
I love Vitos too, but they don't do takeaway pizza, so hopefully there's room in the market for both!
