spooferman Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 http://www.101.gov.uk/ 101 was created for the nosey neighbors with nothing better to do. Worst being the OAP’s
Panthera Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 101 was created so the 999 emergency line isnt taken up by people wanting the police because thier taxi hasn't turned up......so your probably right, even so i find them quite efficient and always answer your call and try to resolve the issues you have......wheres me damn taxi?
honeyb35 Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 the problem in High Green has now gone -cant praise the police enough. they always came out when i was reporting illrgal off road bikers ,so im surprised the OP Has had problems . the OP should contact their local neighbourhood comunity support team -they have their own phone no`s and direct lines . http://neighbourhood.southyorkshire.police.uk/ I wish it had gone in High Green! We regularly have 2 morons haring up and down the road, they seem to enjoy motorists slapping on their footbrakes and beeping at them . They tried to overtake us the other day, couldn't as there was a bus coming the opposite way, so drove down the pavement at stupid speeds, at the side of the school, just as all the kids were leaving...

RobbyBrown Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 101 was created for the nosey neighbors with nothing better to do. Worst being the OAP’s No don't agree with you. Think its more about noise complaints, and the people who complain are often workers, who get awoken by their non working neighbours. I been there and its no fun, having to put in a days work after only having 2 hours sleep
Darth Vader Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 A couple of times now I've seen something I thought the police would be very interested in and took details and phoned up straight away. However after waiting for several minutes on my mobile which is pay as you go, I've had to hang up, frankly I haven't got the cash to be kept waiting on a mobile. I've phoned up with the info later when I've been able to access a landline but of course time is of the essence and the info would be a lot less valuable. It seems crazy when crime seems to be soaring.
