Video: UK citizens arrested & assulted by Police for asking for ID numbers

This happened before the G20 protests, and shows similar disregard for the law by 'our' police forces

What on earth must go on when there are no cameras around?

Listened to a phone in on Radio Sheffield the other day and one chap who phoned in was working at a certain place that served policemen with meals during the Miners Strike.

The chap said that one thing stood out, not one of them had an ID number.

coincidence, not likely.

It is very easy to knock the police, but then , try to imagine a society without them. Imagine that you wake up one day and police had ceased to exist!......How long do you think it would take for law and order to totally break down?....I would guess just a few months.....and NO....I do not think that the police are perfect....and NO....I am in no way connected to the police!

Sounds ideal. You can finally sort out the chavs yourself without the risk of being dragged through court.

As for the Law and Order part, New Labour (a bunch of lawyers themselves) are good at passing oppressive new Laws but seem to have difficulty in the order part of running the country.

The chavs would probably kick your dum ass!

I agree, but that's just common sense. The issue isn't about removing the Police from our streets Phil. The issue is about accountability, you can't be accounted for if your not identifiable.

We're in the UK...not some jumped up junta who make their own laws as they go along.
