RedRocker Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Me and the wife went to see the stage show in London. I just think that the film won't come close to the west end show!!!! But as we have unlimited cards for Cineworld we might go and do the 20 min rule (if it's rubbish, leave!!!!)

There's not much missed out of the film, and I think it benefits from the setting...!!!

I really want to see it but can't see any of my mates being interested. Dam being single! I could at least then pretend the girlfriend was 'dragging' me to see it. __________________

bizzle Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I have to say.... I am so looking forward to this film!!!! I saw the stage show in las Vegas in February and thought it was terrific!!! In fact, for the last few days, I've been in a bit of an ABBA world!!! Please tell me I'm not the only one !! OMG so have I! And since going to watch the film which is fabolous by the way I am in the abba mood. Youtube is favourited on the Abba tracks & I have digged out the Abba greatest hits album & downloaded it onto the ipod. Totally love them

It seems that I'm the only one that couldn't get in to this movie, is it just a girl thing as every female I know loved the movie. What did you think? Rate the movie 1 - 10

(The whole review is funnier than the film [especially the Meryl and Pierce Brosnan impressions], but scroll to about 5.45 min for the crux of the matter). ETA: And go to about ten minutes in for the run in to the Swedish chef impressions .
