Recommend me a "tabletop studio"

Hello all.

As I'm increasingly needing to take product shots of the work I produce for my "real" job (http://twitpic.com/7sxwo for example. Taken with my phone! Not for promo use, obviously. Well, not if I want more work....) I'm curious as to peoples' experiences with tabletop studio environments.

This is one I've come across. Any recommendations from those with experience?

Initially I started off on the cheap with piece of white acrylic and two desk lamps with daylight photo bulbs and tissue paper for softbox. Got OK shots such as this but shooting on my bed wasn't the best of places as couldnt leave it set up

I tried various light tents myself, but having a small house and no table for the table top studio to go on I settled for the Studio Cubelite Kit - self standing light tent with light underneath and softbox on top - comes in 70 and 100cm versions - but you can get without the lights if you have them already. Have a look on this site for this and other stuff available

liked the blog videos...especially of the big cube with under-lighting...have a half-desk at work that I use for product photos with a hama cube on it - that vid inspired plans to cut out the middle of the table and mount perspex and a backdrop to illuminate from underneath and remove shadows....
