andrewwhowat
I'd like to buy myself a casual corduroy jacket. I had one years ago that I loved. I guess they're deeply out of fashion though, since none of the shops I've been to stocks any such thing. (Wouldn't surprise me, I've never been the fashionable type!) Does anyone know if I can buy such a thing in Shef, and if so, where? Suggestions gratefully received.
cd1965
Have you tried the Charity Shops??? Plenty of them around and probably your best bet in getting the jacket!
horribleblob
I can only think of Freshmans retro on Carver Street for secondhand. Failing that, House of Fraser, @ Meadowhell.
DUFFEMS
Cotton Traders very often have corduroy garments for men, I haven't looked in their shops or catalogues recently but, you may find something with them.
andrewwhowat
Thanks to everyone who offered advice. I'm still looking, so more is welcome - esp. if anyone knows any vintage clothing stores in Shef that might stock them. Will try Charity Shops, but am looking for something in good nick and with a fairly modern style. (H&M sold nice ones, but they've disappeared.) House of Fraser didn't have anything sadly. Cotton Traders have only one cord jacket and it's not really what I'm after. The search continues!
