mr chris
Possibly in terms of financial liability, and maybe insurance. Best thing to do is approach one of the business help schemes, like BIG.
andyofborg
you need to be careful and take some advice from a real accountant/lawyer type person. if your wanting to employ people then you are committed to pay the minimum wage, regardless of the amount of commission they earn. if you want commission only, then i think the sales people must be self-employed and you need to enter into a proper written contract with them on that basis. if you go this route then you need to get the contract professionally written, or you run the risk of HMCRE deciding that they really are employees and coming after you for the outstanding tax/ni and penalties. tabbron
Hi, you could always go around some of the local gift type shops and see if they will stock your products on a sale or return basis. I have quite a few products in my shop like that and I only pay for them when I've actually sold them. hope this helps
