Robbie Loving Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 apart from selling james beattie (which was needed to be fair!) who in the mccabe era- have we sold off purely because we needed the money? No-one? It's hard to differentiate whether we needed money for certain people etc.

Dimitri 11 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 25 million over 5 seasons, £3million per season, and £2 million for every year we're not in the PL. If we go up this year and come back down straight away do we get 3 mil for our season in the Prem and then 7 mil the year after or will the 2 mil disappear? Do we basically only get the full 25 mil if we stay down for 5 years?
swervin Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 heard from the lads uncle he wants to stay untill next season he loves it now he's in the first team, but when you get the lure of a big wage increase you never know and no doubt his agent (Mr 10%)will be working over time trying to broker a deal

We are guaranteed £15 million (well £17 million now that we stayed down last season)

CorkerSWFC Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 For all the money Sheffield United are supposed to have got, they don't really show it in the transfer market.

You can't really say that till the end of the transfer window. Also our wage bill is significantly higher than most in the league. We also reported as bidding £1.5 million for Evans, who overall is an untested player.
