Yes i know- but that was set far too low- how much do you think he is worth now? 10 million???

I think the club should look at kyles potential value and take that into account IF they want to sell him.

I have heard, Naughton will sign for Man utd for 7m !! how amazing that would be.

Its second hand information, but the source is a respected ex international, now a manager, and no connection to either sheffield club.

So it's not Bryan Robson then or Steve Bruce. Hmmm Roy Keane?

You do want us to guess the source don't you? :hihi:

Of course they can, if no club tables an offer that we find acceptable (and obviously 3.5mil + 1.5mil later) isn't acceptable.

As for kyle- he is our player- sod fair, its tough luck if he wants to go- we hold his signature and unless we decide to sell him he will play for us next season.

but there you enter the troubled waters of keeping a player who may want to be elsewhere .

Wood was nowhere like the player we know he is after we turned down his transfer request -you could tell he didnt want to be there

He's a young kid- he has his whole career infront of him- who said he would even want to leave- he might be 4th or 5th in the line at man u whereas he is first at the lane. he has really only had 1 full season in our first team- i think he will want to stay and learn more about 'real' football.

apart from selling james beattie (which was needed to be fair!) who in the mccabe era- have we sold off purely because we needed the money? No-one?
