displaced
Ive been trying to find anywhere that will sell me a keg for a party. I've been looking online but they cost quite a lot for delivery upwards of £50. Does any where sell them locally?

technohead
once you get the keg from one of these breweries, surely you need proper pumps and stuff to extract it? If youve got enough time (i doubt you will, but an idea for the future), think its about a month, you could brew your own. Its very cheap once you got the kit which isnt expensive. displaced
I was actually looking for one of the more generic Lagers. (carling Stella etc) just cause some of the local tipples might not be to everyones taste... and yeah I would need a hand pump etc to get the drink out... Yup, thats what I do, but I have all the dispensing equipment to have it on draught out of a tap on my bar (Metal kegs, co2 cylinders + regs, flash chiller, taps etc.) Works a treat, the way I brew I can have a drinkable, carbonated beer in about 7 days, if i'm doing a special real ale I will usually mature for a month or so, but for lager/bitter I can have it clear and drinkable in 7-10 days. If all you want is the same crappy fizz that comes in cans, why not buy cans. It saves a load of agro not needing a cylinder of CO2 to pressurize the keg, and the need to sever the stuff at room temperature.
