crookesey   586 #31 Posted June 14, 2009 Sheffield Wedfnesday- David Blunkett. I won't be tasteless enough to pick on his primary disability although the secondary one of supporting Sheffield Wednesday is fair game, but I wondered if he should be reported to the RSPCA for cruelty to animals by taking the poor dog to watch them  When you start to think that you are a complete smart arse, it wouldn't be a bad idea to check the spelling of your area of hatred, smart arse. AltyOwl   10 #34 Posted June 14, 2009 Palin = Blade - read the Monty Python memories "Says he was always a Blade when he lived in Sheffield and found Wednesday fans a bit weird"  I think he is a blade, but he also has a soft spot for Wednesday. I've read in one of his books about how on a cold tuesday night he clammered over to Highbury to watch the Owls play. He's also given out Owls scarves to kids on his programmes where he travels the globe. So really he must support both.
 Share this content via...
AltyOwl   10 #35 Posted June 14, 2009 Isn't Jermain Jackson an Owl? I remember he claimed to be years ago.  I've heard this also. Someone must have made it up. Unless he's like Tom Hanks, who supports Aston Villa because he thinks they have a 'cool' name.
 Share this content via...
