LitleMermaid
Simple question really-does anyone know of anywhere I can buy gelatine-free marshmallows? I've been veggie for five and a bit years, and have really missed mashmallows, and just had a particularly strong craving for some to toast

LitleMermaid
Jesus, don't say that, I'd rather poke my own eyes out with a rusty nail!
foxforcefive
I was gonna make some marshmallows a while ago but never got round to it, why don't you make your own but substitute the gelatin for veggie equivalent, I'll try to find the recipe that I was gonna use. LitleMermaid
Could give it a go! And if they end up a sloppy mess and not at all toastable, I'm sure it'd still be a very yummy sloppy mess:love:

LitleMermaid
Yum yum, I remember watching the programme where he made these and they looked sooo yummy! Although looking at the ingredients, I canno longer kid myself about how bad they are for you:hihi:

LitleMermaid
Yup, that's my kind of logic girl! I made banana cookies t'other day, and felt all virtuous. I could've just used the chocolate chips, I didn't have to add the banana as well! I'm a health food goddess:nod:
horribleblob
Difficult one. I once got hold of some in London (imported from the States) but I've not seen any in Sheffield. Besides, when toasted they turned into a gooey mess.
