blazekitty
Hi I'm just wondering what people think of Overclockers? Seen there has been issues with them but seeing as the posts are a little old figured it was worth asking again
DR_PC
had nothing but good trade with them. they are not the cheapest out there but ive found them to be very reliable which is sometimes better than cheap. Edit: only ever bought components from them though, never a whole system.

bkcin
I agree with the above. A friend of mine bought one of their pre-built systems about a year ago and had no problems with it.
InvalidUser
I bought something from them once, didn't have a problem.
Dave650
I placed a big order with them once. They were good.
Bonjon
Ordered a few things, found them a bit pricey and usually stick with ebuyer/Aria.
Magilla
Hi I'm just wondering what people think of Overclockers? Seen there has been issues with them but seeing as the posts are a little old figured it was worth asking again As others say, not the cheapest but pretty reliable. I've found that their user reviews are cherry picked to give an overly rosey view of the products they sell, submit a less than stellar review and you'll see they hardly ever make it onto the website. Only problem I've had with them is when stuff turns up faulty. They're supposed to collect but insist you post it back to them, then start refusing to respond to emails when you ask for postage costs to be returned. Their internal "mail" system seems to be primarily designed to selectively ignore the customer. Dabs got fined in the high court for doing the same thing. Costs for return of faulty goods must be paid by the retailer, not the consumer. I ended up having to threaten the MD with a court appearance before they suddenly started listening. Got all the monies back in the end. So, to sum up, they're pretty good when things work as intended, but absolutely abysmal when it doesn't. Having said that, these issues pale into insignificance compared to some of the problems I've had with eBuyer. That is one company I would never ever use again... truely terrible. blazekitty
A few of you have mentioned that they have higher prices than other places. Can you recomend anywhere for good prices? I'm getting 4gb memory as a present for someone (the memory inside your pc, not to carry round)
Bonjon
Ebuyer, Aria would be good for a larger order but there postage is high, so it only saves you if you make a large order.
